Sustainability:

Lovetrigger embraces sustainability with a passion for a healthy planet. We take our responsibility seriously, from production to material selection and delivery. Here are our sustainability principles:

  1. Fair Production:

    • Lovetrigger carefully selects partners with an eye for social impact and GOTS certification for healthy working conditions.
    • Our Dutch clothing workshops offer opportunities to refugees, resulting in high-quality, sustainable clothing.

  2. Sustainable Materials:

    • Lovetrigger uses mainly GOTS-certified organic cotton, with minimal environmental impact and responsible working conditions.
    • Organic cotton reduces water use by 91%, minimizes chemicals, and has a 46% lower greenhouse gas impact.

  3. Recycling:

    • Lovetrigger is committed to using high-quality recycled fabrics for future collections.
    • However, we avoid recycled PET due to microplastic impact during washing, except for items such as jackets.

  4. Deposit system:

    • Lovetrigger is working on a deposit system where customers can return old clothes for a discount on new purchases, to prevent waste.

  5. Sustainable Transport:

    • Our production chain minimizes polluting transport by using sustainable materials from Turkey and Portugal.
    • Deliveries are made through the most sustainable couriers, such as fietskoeriers.nl, with minimal use of traditional means of transport.

  6. Sustainable Packaging:

    • Lovetrigger uses FSC wooden cardboard packaging to reduce plastic use.
    • We continue to look for even more sustainable packaging alternatives.

  7. Shipping costs and returns:

    • Lovetrigger contributes to delivery costs, but free shipping is avoided to reduce unnecessary CO2 emissions.
    • A cleaner returns policy: Customers bear the costs of returns themselves, to reduce unnecessary transport movements and waste.
